"It’s turned out to be a great success"

What’s your reason for being; what’s your organization’s mission?

Frohberg Tennis Club offers tennis options for young and old in beautiful surroundings. We’re a young club with around 400 active members. We gain 20 to 30 new members each year, often younger players. It’s a good mix that gives the club a particular feel. Everyone’s welcome, even those who just want to play one match or enjoy a cold drink on our scenic terrace.

What challenges led you to Fairgate and RaiseNow TWINT?

With a total of 850 members (active, junior and passive) we’re a large club, and we have to manage our resources by continually optimizing all our processes. We’re currently in the middle of digitalizing the club, and with RaiseNow TWINT we’d like to offer our members a very quick and convenient payment option. We decided to give it a try – and it’s turned out to be a great success.

How did you find out about RaiseNow TWINT?

Our club’s been using Fairgate for over ten years already, and it was in a Fairgate newsletter that we found out about the RaiseNow TWINT solution.

What successes have you already had with RaiseNow TWINT?

In three months we’ve processed nearly 250 transactions with a total volume of more than CHF 60,000 using RaiseNow TWINT.

Can you give us an example of payments that you collect using RaiseNow TWINT?

We use this payment method in several areas:

• All club invoices (over 2,000 invoices per year) have been payable using TWINT since January 2022.
• You can use it to buy tennis balls from the manager.
• External guests can use it to pay the court fee.

How’s your experience been up to now?

Our supporters and members have given us some very positive feedback about paying by QR code. We’ve only had positive reactions. Unfortunately we’ve had very few events so far, due to the pandemic, but we’re thinking about using the QR codes for them, too, in the future.

It’s important to plan the integration with Fairgate carefully, but overall we really like the complete Fairgate integration.

I’d encourage other clubs to start using this solution as soon as possible, in spite of the fees. Your members will thank you for it.
