Will QR-bills replace payment slips?

Yes, the red and orange payment slips will be officially replaced as of 30th September 2022. With the RaiseNow TWINT extension, you can now digitalize your donation process. Here you can find all further information about the QR-bill.

 

Can you scan the Swiss QR code with the TWINT app as well as a banking app?

Yes, with the RaiseNow TWINT extension, you can scan and pay QR-bills with either the TWINT app or your banking app.

 

Who can use the QR-bill with TWINT?

This feature is available for all RaiseNow Free or Growth customers who use RaiseNow Hub and already send QR-bills to their supporters or members.

 

How do I create a QR code?

The combined QR code needs to be set up in RaiseNow Hub. For this, you’ll need an active RaiseNow Hub TWINT QR Pay Plus or TWINT QR Donate solution. Don’t worry - our onboarding process takes you through the process step by step to ensure you get off to a successful start. You will be provided with all the information you need to generate the QR-bill. The actual QR-bill itself needs to be created using a third party application, for example by a print shop, in your CRM or using a billing tool, as shown in our live demo video above.

Are there any design specifications and guidelines I need to take into account?

To make it clear to your supporters or members that the QR invoice can also be scanned with the TWINT app, we recommend that you add our TWINT banner to your invoice template. In our style guide, we provide instructions on how the banner should be added to the invoice template and which other design files are required. Our style guide is compliant with the Swiss Implementation Guidelines for QR-bills.

 

How much does it cost?

You will be charged a fee of 2.5% for each successful transaction. 

 

Do potential supporters’ addresses need to be uploaded in order for the address to be correctly displayed on the invoice?

No, your supporters’ personal information does not need to be uploaded to RaiseNow as the Swiss QR code can generate this and the relevant data is included in the Swiss QR payload. The term payload refers the data that is visually represented by the QR code.

 

 

Do you need a CRM in order to generate QR-bills?

No, you don’t necessarily need a CRM. Most print shops offer this service as long as you provide them with the required data in the right format.

 

Can our organization generate one of these personalized TWINT QR codes ourselves?

Yes, you can create it on your own. The personalization also works without a CRM, but you must generate the QR code with the correct payload yourself. We’ve prepared the instructions for this here:
